Ever google yourself? It's amazing what you'll find.
I placed meta tags on my website to help search engines categorize this site. The "googlebot" pays me a visit every 2 weeks or so and it last came by this morning (14 Dec 03). I did a search on the keywords I had placed in my meta tags. My site has yet to be assimilated but I did find some interesting things.
Did you know I'm the sheriff of Woodstock NY?!? Image that, Sheriff Byron Kelly. Oh the evil laughs I emitted over that. It makes sense. I've always been involved with law enforcement but usually on the receiving end of the tickets.
Then I found this (see picture at left). It's a yearbook reference to the class of 1928 (the year my Step Dad Doug was born) for Hollywood High School. Now I have a lot of friends in the Los Angeles area. Some old, some new. My real father was drawn to California and many of my friends are UCLA graduates.
I don't know about you but I find this rather freaky. This guy, born 53 years before me, who shares my name, lives in California, where various people and events in my life are focused, comes out of the blue on a google search to make himself known. He even has a similar appearance as me. He's in the "H" club (I hope that means Horticulture and not Heroin) and I grew up on a farm. I wonder what he studied at UCLA?
Now, why am I babbling about this guy? Well, it's 2056. A kid born in 2016 by the name of Byron Kelly is relaxing in his chair with his virtual sensory headpiece on going through references of his name for grins and giggles. He's a technology guy and an artist. He finds this site called VelvetCanvas and starts to read. "Wow, I wonder if this guy, born 53 years before me, had the same dreams?" he thinks, "If he's still alive, I should meet him."

Wasn't I a handsome devil back then. And look at all that hair! And I had a haircut for this picture.
