24 Dec 2007 - The Project Pictures

As promised, here are the pictures of the re-decoration project. I made them smaller in size so a certain someone can look at them on his iPhone. Just click on the pic to see a little bigger view. Starting from the front of the house moving back...

Living Room ..... Stairwell ........... TV Room (Left) and (Right)

Dining Room .... Kitchen ............ Faux Details

The best part is the faux finish behind the stove. Becky came and created a block wall that looks very real but is nothing but textured paint. Took her 3-days. I am amazed at what a wonderful job she did. We owe her a fancy dinner at some point.

In other news, It's Christmas Eve. The toys are wrapped. The cookies are out. There is deer feed in the yard with glitter to catch the light for easier landing. The movie It's a Wonderful Life is on again. Times sure have changed. When Zuzu says, "Teacher says when a bell rings, Angels get their wings" I had to chuckle. If a teacher said that now, she'd be fired. Yes, the times have changed, but the stories of Christmas haven't. Aidan sleeps dreaming of reindeer and presents. Connie is making cookies. I'm on my 'puter.

All is well.

The latest in a series of entries in the Fabriano sketchbook. I only have a few pages left. Guess I'll be starting another soon. Click the pic to go directly to that page.

I grabbed a camera, a tripod, Aidan and Connie. I sat them down and said, "We need to send one of them there fancy photo cards this year." So I took the pic, did a quick edit, added the words and off to WalMart I sent it for printing. If you didn't get one, I ran out or I somehow missed you. Sorry. If you did, I hope it wasn't too cheesy.
