6 Jan 2008 - A Musical?

So I went to the movies with Robbie tonight. It's the thing we both enjoy and we like movies our lovely wives would rather not see. Tonight's movie? Sweeny Todd.

Robbie took me to a friggin musical.

Although I have to admit, the body count and gore are higher than most horror movies I've seen. Despite the singing of most of the dialogue; I did enjoyed it.

I don't think Connie would appreciate all the blood splatter or the cannibalism. Good thing Robbie has me to take to these things. :-)

Speaking of Connie, the corner may get resurrected soon. It might even get an update before Robbie's annual site update. To quote Hobie, "That's the longest President's Day ever!" We'll see. All depends on how fast I get off my butt and set it up for her. She has an update ready to go. I believe the title is "Bitchy the Snowman - Take 3." Ok, so I get a little grumpy sometimes.

I still haven't gotten my art stuff done. I was sick and then got lazy. Deal. Along with the flu, I also caught the poker bug again. I did well on Friday's tournament. Robbie placed 4th; much better than me, but if I didn't have a friggin headache I'm sure I could have been right up there with him. Aidan has been asking for me to host another poker party. He likes them for some reason. I think I'll teach him how to play soon.

Finally, I've been teaching him how to play Guitar Hero. He does well! He has a band; Aidan and the Crocs. He's got a knack for naming bands. I wonder how long before he names one "Flaming Squirrels?"

The latest in a series of entries in the Fabriano sketchbook. I only have a few pages left. Guess I'll be starting another soon. Click the pic to go directly to that page.

I grabbed a camera, a tripod, Aidan and Connie. I sat them down and said, "We need to send one of them there fancy photo cards this year." So I took the pic, did a quick edit, added the words and off to WalMart I sent it for printing. If you didn't get one, I ran out or I somehow missed you. Sorry. If you did, I hope it wasn't too cheesy.
