16 Mar 2008 - Organizing 3 Boys with a Numb Hand

I started the long road to organizing my office today. I figure I might be done sometime next year. Damn I keep a lot of junk. I'm in major purge mode. When I make the new desk and redecorate I'll have pics on the squirrel for your review and comment.

My arm is numb again. Damn nerves. Makes drawing difficult as well as typing but I plod on. It's so much fun to get old. At least I went to the doctor to whine about it. Have to get these things in the record. I'm pretty sure I'll be rated above 70% disabled by the VA; what with the heart attack in 92, pinched nerves, compressed disks in my neck, carpel tunnel in my hands, chronic sinus issues, hiatal hernia, diabetes and loss of hearing in my right ear. Yeah, disabled veteran of a foreign war status here I come. Just got to make it to my 45th and I'm home free invincible again until I'm 56. Damn me and my silly dreams.

Aidan just spent 2-days with his friends from school. Triplets. Two boys and a girl. The two boys, Mark and Sean are just like Aidan. Friday he spent at their house, Saturday was at our house. You should see poor Connie. She is sitting on the couch holding her knees rocking back and forth sucking her thumb. It's so cute when we boys break our moms. I'm going to take Aidan on a shopping trip later and give her peace.

This retirement in Dec is starting to sink in. I've got the fear. Good. Fear motivates. Good thing the economy is kind of going messy. Happens every time I think about getting out.

Enough for now. I have a wireless router to install, on-line games to play, media servers to create. Life is so much better with a PS3. Robbie was right. I hate it when he's right.
