11 Sep 2008 - 22 Police Car Escort (T-140d)
Last night, coming home from class, I had just gotten on the highway when over the hill behind me I see that oh-too-familiar blue and red flashing light. Now for once, I was not speeding so I simply moved over. It's a highway, I didn't have to stop, so they passed me by. One... two... three... on and on until the 22nd car finally passed me. I moved back behind them and then paced them down the highway. They weren't speeding so neither was I. All the way down highway 90 and then on highway 151 they went. I left them when I had to take my exit. Having a 22 police car escort ROCKED!
Of course, it wasn't for me. There's a lot of activity with hurricane Ike on it's way in. We're ready, but I hope it goes poof before it makes land fall. Storms bother me.
I finished my schedule for Fantastic Fest. I posted it on the Squirrel, mostly for Robbie to compare with his, but also to show off the insane number of movies I'm going to watch. I hope my shaky face badge comes out. I should show up with scotch tape on my face pulling it in strange directions so they think I just took a normal picture. LOL
I'm giving Aidan a lesson in life this week. I told him if you fail, bad things happen. If you just do the minimum, nothing happens. If you work hard, you can gain rewards. So, I told him if he fails his spelling test, I take the DS away. If he passes but doesn't get above 90, then nothing happens. If he gets above 90, he gets to have and play the Lego Star Wars game he and I bought at Game Stop last week. I'm fighting against the rewarding of mediocrity that seems so damn prevalent these days.
Finally, it's been 7 years, no attacks. I know why. I'd love to tell you, but I'd have to kill you. I know you Bush haters can't stand the thought, but all is well, still, and I thank him and all those who have been working to keep it that way. So should you.
That's right, I now know how to make prints. I have 23 left, each with a certificate of authenticity. I'm all big time artist now. E-mail me if you want one. While supplies last!
Fantastic Fest is almost here! This year they are doing picture badges. But who wants a boring photo when you're a VIP at Fantastic Fest? The theme? Shaky Face!
Here's my VIP photo submission that I will be proudly wearing around my neck all week! Enjoy.
