16 Sep 2008 - Eye Plastic and Ear Worms (T-135d)

Well I finally went and did it. I'm a contact wearing squirrel now! Apparently I have very strange eyes and my optometrist, who is a fellow "cheese-head" (Oh how I hate that term) stated that fact, then rubbed his hands and exclaimed, "I love a challenge." My contacts have these tiny little lines in them. I have to put them in a certain way or I'm crazy blind. The line part is actually a weight to make them line up.

Ever have a song that just will NOT get out of your head. Here's mine! Damn iPOD then HD videos. Every morning it's in my head? Every day while driving home. Every night as I drift off to sleep. ARRRGGGH.

In other news... Aidan learned what a galloping horse feels like on Sunday. I had "Flash" flash-backs. His poor tenders. He loves being out there with Ms. Penny and the horses. Heck, I really enjoy being out there. I'm seriously considering changing my grand plan for the land in Canyon Lake; sell it and acquire many acres in the country somewhere. I've always been a farm boy at heart. Being at Penny's and watching Aidan make me want that again. There's something to be said for not having your neighbor mere feet from you. Maybe a nice plot of land in Austin so I can be closer to Fantastic Fest 2009!
