Another picture I did for a friend was this one. Robbie takes me to live music events and to bands I would not normally see if given the chance on my own. The Scabs is one of them. Robbie is a big fan. Now that I've seen them, so am I.

While I was at Antones in Austin, we saw them play. There was a poster high up one wall. I really thought it was awesome. It wasn't for sale and I didn't want to take it so I did the next best thing, I recreated it.

It's smaller than the original and there are differences. I didn't draw the guy on the left with a gun. The rest, well, it's pretty close to the original.

This was the first drawing I tried to make a high quality copy of. I managed to make two that I liked. I gave the best one to Robbie and I still have another. The original is still on a page in one of my books. I wonder if he ever hung his up in his home?
